Online Resilience Coaching for Public Service Media Leaders

Online Resilience Coaching for Public Service Media Leaders

Overview

During these turbulent times for public service media (PSM), EBU Academy is working to support leaders with online one-to-one resilience coaching.

It is an opportunity for those navigating today’s challenges to look inward and ask what they need to be as strong, effective and fulfilled as possible.

Increasing pressure at work affects personal commitments; we understand this, and participants in coaching have a chance to reflect on their lives, professional and personal.

The programme will be led by a qualified life, team and career coach, Steve De Coninck-De Boeck. Critically, Steve brings his own experiences of PSM, working for many years as a senior leader at VRT in Belgium.

In a recent pilot coaching by Steve, the recipient - a public service media leader - said the experience has made a tangible impact, commenting that it has “profoundly changed how I behave”.

Who is it for

  • Directors
  • General Managers
  • Heads of department
  • Other Senior and Mid Level Managers

What is the programme

The coaching programme consists of the following:

  • An initial orientation and introduction session.
  • x 1 opening session of two hours, followed by x 5 sessions of 1.5 hours each.
  • Includes contact inbetween sessions - by email or WhatsApp -  should you need it.

All discussions are strictly confidential. You, your coach and fellow participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to the first meeting.

Steve says:

“It is a privilege to guide professionals in generating insights about their thinking, feeling, and doing. And to support them in pursuing challenging goals from there. At its core, coaching is about evolving from problems and question marks to calm and clarity. In these processes, I love being your partner in crime.”
