Overview
Would you like to build up your self-confidence, communicate more effectively, learn to manage fear and self-doubt better to play a more active part in your professional environment and at the international level?
The Master Class will give you a toolbox and show you the way forward to be more self-assured, raise your international profile and help you become a trusted representative of your organization in expert groups and collaborative development initiatives, within the EBU and other international bodies.
You will also get an opportunity to enrich your professional network and discuss challenges with the trainer and your peers.
The course includes a 1-to-1 coaching session with the trainer.
This is part of EBU Academy’s PSM Compass Bootcamp, a portfolio of courses and learning activities supporting those working in advocacy and communications. This is in support of the EBU’s PSM Compass, an online toolkit helping Members take on existential threats. Take 3 or more events in the Bootcamp series and you will be awarded a special diploma from EBU Academy.

Individual Coaching
As part of the course, each trainee can sign up for a 45-minute individual coaching session with the trainer.
Practice
Between sessions and in their own time, trainees may be asked to work on their own and/or in small groups.
Certification
After completing the 3 modules, you will be awarded an EBU Academy Certificate.
Meet your faculty
Alexandra Dalton
Alex’s training work ranges from delivering bespoke creative leadership training to broadcast commissioners, to offering personal development tips to 200 lively teenagers. She has launched a creative network in the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport; Ashe . She has also designed a strategic innovation model that has been adopted and that she continues to teach across all digital teams in the BBC. She has earned the trust and respect of senior leaders in media and entertainment with an innovative and empowering one-on-one leadership development programme. Recently, she has coached production teams to pitch for and win business worth over £15 million.
Alex works with a number of other organizations, including; The Welcome Foundation, Amnesty International, The NHS, Cambridge University, The Royal British Legion, L’Oreal, BP, Moneysaving Expert, IMG, Coca-Cola and Pernod-Ricard. During her career with the BBC, Alex produced major events such as The Olympics, The General Election, The Grand National and Wimbledon.
