Live IP Essentials

Overview

Self-Paced Learning. This course is an asynchronous course delivered on the EBU Academy Learning Platform. This allows trainees to organize their learning at their own pace. Trainees who cover all the material and pass the quizzes receive a certificate.

It teaches the basics of IP technology from the perspective of a Media industry professional. It covers the different layers that compose an IP network, explaining how one builds on top of each other, allowing applications to communicate.

The learning focuses on the aspects that are specific to media and which put the most stress on the production infrastructure.

The course is the foundation for the EBU Academy e-Master Class on Preparing your move to Live IP production: https://academy.ebu.ch/preparing-your-move-to-live-ip-tv-production
